Are you living a purposed life?

Living purposefully is the only way to push on when the going gets tough

Just a short year ago, I had no purpose and was living the opposite of a purposed life — a misdirected life. I was living my life with no idea of where I was going, nor the negative effects that my bad habits had on me in both the present moment and on my future. To clarify, I won’t say that I didn’t have some semblance of an idea as to what I wanted to do in my life, but I had an immense amount of fear, and didn’t see myself as worthy of all the greatness that I dreamt of.

I know for a fact that I’m not the only one who ever felt like this, which is why I decided to start this newsletter. Through a bunch of different rituals and techniques, I’ve been able to rise above my fears and get on the purposed path, and I know that you can too. For those who feel that they are living their purpose, there’s nothing wrong with positive motivation to keep you on your path to greatness. The major driving force of my mindset shift has been my faith in God, so I’ll be integrating bible quotes to further emphasize whatever point I’m trying to make in a given post.

Nothing happens overnight, and for the people that things do happen overnight (e.g. lottery winners), the success tends to be short-lived, and what was supposed to be a blessing, ends up being a curse. As I’ve learned in my short time on this earth, don’t be in a rush to get somewhere; embrace the journey and seek to become the best version of yourself each day that you wake. Many times, living a purposed life means that you have to give up habits that you previously defined yourself by, or ending friendships that don’t seem to be going anywhere that you’re going. The purposed life is a disciplined life. God made you for a specific purpose… do you believe that you are worthy of it?

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” — Romans 8:28 NKJV
