Does the SEC favor the Elites?

David beats Goliath, so the SEC should WATCH out

Hopefully, you know that this is a rhetorical question. The recent events with $GME, $AMC, $NOK, and others have made it crystal clear that the system is rigged-for the elites. As soon as the subreddit r/wallstreetbets picked up on the fact that Melvin Capital had taken out a large short position on $GME (GameStop), the average everyday retail trader banded together with others like them and decided to buy the stock in droves, which resulted in billion-dollar losses for not only Melvin Capital, but some other hedge funds as well. In short: the people are DONE with the Elite’s games. It’s truly game stop, for them.

An issue that is uniting both sides of the political spectrum, this whole ordeal proves one thing for sure… the time for decentralization is NOW. What does this mean for the future of the stock market? For DeFi? For crypto? All of this further drives home the point that centralization of power is the true enemy of the people, and governing bodies like the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), only validate that in their clear bias towards multinational corporations.

But what about the little guy?

What about the little guy.

The SEC has survived this far only standing for Wall Street, but with all the justified craziness going on, maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Up until now, only those with money and elite status have had the opportunity to partake in big paydays from preferred stock options and world-class startup deals. You know, the people who were early investors in Google, Facebook, Apple, etc., all companies that seem to move in tandem when it comes to censoring those they don’t like and labeling them as “alt-right white supremacists”, yet preaching about their commitment to “racial justice”… a laughable admission. What about justice for those who lost everything they had in ’08, and then again with the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020 due to the collusion of these Elites against the people? Do the SEC, Congress, Wall Street, and the Elites really care, or are they just virtue signaling in the hopes that the people won’t find out the dirty games they’ve been playing all along?

It seems the players have become the played. Checkmate.

The GameStop/WSB controversy is exactly what Occupy Wall Street should’ve been. The people have finally outsmarted the very people that have been actively driving us apart, and they’re IRATE, to say the least.

As the saying goes, once you take the red pill, there’s no going back. And there’s no going back to a world where the Elites have the upper hand in this dirty game that they created. We the people have always had more power than the Elites due to sheer numbers, and they were hoping that they’d dumbed us down enough with drugs, alcohol, entertainment, and infighting, in the hopes that we wouldn’t wake up to who the real problem was this whole time: them.

Freedom has never felt so sweet 🥲. While this is only the beginning, I have many questions, but I’ll leave you with this one first: what does the future of the SEC look like, and how do we the people ensure that it favors the little guy, not the men & women in suits sitting in their offices on Wall Street and Sand Hill Road?

Now is the time to become empowered through self-education on these various agencies, and to figure out the cracks in the system that will enable the little guy to finally start winning. Who knows, we may just have to scrap the entire system, and start completely over.

While Twitter may have gotten rid of Donald Trump’s account, it’s clear that the movement he started was never about him, it was about the Davids of the world taking on the Goliaths. And if you aren’t familiar with that story, spoiler: David wins. As Saul said to David in 1 Samuel 17:33, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” The Elites will tell the little guy that they cannot and will not win. But I urge the little guy not to forget that God works for the good of all, not for the good of the very few who’ve rigged the game in their favor. Let’s dive deeper into the story of David and Goliath below, to glean more about what I’m talking about:

“Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield-bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.”Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.

So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand, he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the sheath. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.

When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.” -1 Samuel 17:41–51 NIV

This story illustrates exactly what I believe we the people are dealing with right now. To the Elites; NEVER underestimate the little guy, like the Philistine (Goliath) did with David. To the people; always believe that the forces of good are working in our favor, because eventually, light exposes the dark, and to those who’ve sewn seeds of greed, arrogance, and gluttony, nothing can stop what’s coming for them when the pendulum inevitably swings the other way.

It’s GO time, people!
